I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

The dilettante, an exploded star and the sunlight...I’m a bookworm and a would-be poet who will publish his books someday someway. If I don’t waste... ahm... seize my days at work, I read a lot and write poems, texts and stuff like that. I try to remove cat hair from my black, dark and even bright clothes all the time and enjoy life with my girlfriend Micki together with our capricious cat. I try hard not to be persuaded for crazy projects with my chaotic friends again and again, like to tilt at windmills and can never resist to walk on fire... Among other things I'm a confirmed smoker, coffee addict, beer drinker, wine savourer and a still slim gourmand ;-)I'm neither dreamer, nor realist, maybe something in between. Anyhow I'm an incorrigible melancholiac, almost always lunatic stupid, most of the time happy or at least funny, often nay saying, sometimes cynic and from time to time someone calls me smart-arse... Enough?

My Interests

The ones I adore: My girlfriend Micki and our great cat Odin, New Zealand (the most beautiful country on this planet!), literature (all kinds: from trivial literature over modern entertainment to the classics and poetry), writing poems, songtexts and strange stuff, music (dark things, loud and fast guitars and industrial stamping preferred), photography & graphic designs (I’m a dilettante – just trying out the few tricks my girlfriend taught me), movies (although I don’t visit cinemas that often since all those 3D-movie-party-temples took overhand, I still like the old little charming movie theatres), my chaotic friends (and believe me, to take care ‘bout them is quite time-consuming), outdoor activities (at least sometimes when I manage to conquer my laziness), making parodies ‘bout the people around me, especially at work (guess someday someone will beat me up for my impersonation of his person, but you have to have some fun at work, right?), philosophing, yarning new conspiracy theories and all the other nice things to enjoy life...

I'd like to meet:

Tim Burton - Vincent

Meinem Profil hinzufügen | Mehr VideosExciting people with similar interests, or at least Shirley Manson and Leah Remini. The guys of Paradise Lost and Elvis, if he is really not dead. Talita, to have a cup of tea at her breakfast show with her, the Children Of Bodom hate crew and my alter ego. A simulacrum of Philip K. Dick and Lucy in the sky. The strange guy that stares back at me every morning when I look into the mirror and all the opposed, incompatible characters that may belong to all the different voices in my head... Forgot anything or anyone to mention? Oh, yeah, people that write back sometimes would be nice, not just those who only collect friends on their lists, okay? ;-) Anyhow, the main reasons for this page is: I'm looking for people that help me along with my writings and maybe also vice versa... Somehow, somewhere...

Music:

"Hard stuff" like Black metal, Death metal, Melodic death metal, Gothic metal, Industrial, Dark rock and "normal stuff" which are all the things that belong to the so called genre Alternative rock; also Wave, Gothic, Trip hop and some other things like Electronic sounds, Jazz, Blues, Soul und good old Rock'n'Roll, radio FM4, radio totalrock.com, snakenetmetalradio.com, radio therock.net.nz, etc. ...Still one of the best songs ever and my monday hymn:Paradise Lost- "Forever Failure"
..
Meinem Profil hinzufügen | Mehr VideosActually I'm not really a fan of all this power and trash or classic heavy metal thing, but for many reasons it seems that this is worth a closer look. check it out: Acrassicauda - the only metal band from Iraq!

Movies:

A Scanner Darkly, The Boondock Saints, The Godfather, The Matrix (only the first part), Ravenous, Ronin, Natural Born Killers, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Donnie Darko, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Jacky Brown, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, some movies of John Carpenter like Escape From New York, They Live... and some of the old stuff with Vincent Price. Wonder Boys, Fickende Fische, Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amelie Poulain, In The Mood For Love, Genghis Blues (documentary film 'bout the american blues and tuvan throat-singer Paul Pena), Poppitz, the whole Monty Python stuff, Walk The Line, Ray, old charming movies like Breakfast At Tiffany's, some Michael Moore documentaries, Zeitgeist - The Movie (nothing better than a good conspiracy theory), etc. But I must confess most of the time I fall asleep while staring at the screen... / ENJOY THIS (although the beginning is long-drawn-out): Zeitgeist

Television:

Good documentaries and reportages, the original Star Trek series and other old funny science fiction series, The Simpsons, Futurama, Dinosaurs (the one with those puppets), Garfield And His Friends, Malcom In The Middle, Scrubs, Friends, Austrian cabaret (That scene is great!), Monty Python's Flying Circus, Dorfers Donnerstalk, Die Sendung ohne Namen and Die Vier da. Oh yeah, the new Battlestar Galactica series is pretty nice (one of the few modern science fiction series that is that not just childish rubbish), Literatur im Foyer, Kulturzeit (I'm really glad I receive 3Sat again...), Lesezeit, etc. And hey, I’m not highly sensitive but do we really need all these series ‘bout veterinary surgeons and their work or any other medical surgery or filmed births on TV, ha?!

Books:

Everything by Philip K. Dick, a lot things by Marion Zimmer Bradley, Tamora Pierce, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain, Jonathan Lethem, Thomas Berger, Johanna Sinisalo, Jonathan Coe, Nick Hornby, Jon McGregor, Simon Lewis, Rupert Morgan, Jose Carlos Somoza, Albert Sanchez Pinol, Umberto Eco, Benjamin Von Stuckrad-Barre, Rujana Jeger, Philippe Claudel, Tanja Kindersley, Elias Canetti, Sir Peter Ustinov, Graham Greene, Ingeborg Bachmann, Marlen Haushofer, Hermann Hesse, Franz Kafka, Michael Köhlmeier, Wolfgang Hermann, Abdallah Zrika, all kinds of classic and modern poetry, etc.

Heroes:

Just like David Bowie had sung: [...] and the guns shot above our heads / and we kissed as though nothing could fall / and the shame was on the other side / oh we can beat them forever and ever / then we could be heroes just for one day [...]Literary: Philip K. Dick; Musically: Paradise Lost; Oh, and there are a lot heroes in my childhood memories: Elvis Presley, Falco, Bill Cosby, James T. Kirk, Captain Future, Mark Brandis, Ren Dhark, The Masters Of The Universe, Batman, etc.
