Living Stones, Inc. is a professional Theatre Arts company committed to breeding excellence in ministry through worship; executing that worship through the arts. Living Stones, Inc. has been among the forerunners of the Arts Ministry genre for the last eight years. The company remains unique in its structure as it is among the minority of professional Christian Theatre companies that operate independently of any church affiliation. In fact, the Artists of Living Stones, Inc. represent many different Christian congregations throughout the DC Metro Area and beyond. Living Stones Worship & Arts Ministry, Inc. is also the parent company to a thriving, established, Theatre Arts campus ministry operating exclusively on the campus of Howard University.Living Stones Worship & Arts Ministry was founded in 2000 as a campus organization at Howard University by five theatre arts students; all who had the desire and the passion to glorify Christ through the arts. Founded on the Biblical scripture I Peter 2:5, Living Stones is dedicated to upholding the standards and values set forth by the Word of God. In November 2006, six Howard University Living Stones alumni founded Living Stones, Inc. which has been commissioned by God to glorify Christ and unveil His love through the arts. We are an organization that: trains individuals of faith in the arts, produces original works, and serves as stewards for a thriving community of Christian artists. Living Stones, Inc. uses all facets of the written, performance, visual, and technical arts to worship God and convey the love of Christ.Since the inception of the ministry, Living Stones has been invited to participate in numerous events. Some events include: True Love Waits Conference, Perfecting Faith Church – Youth Explosion 2006, Wednesday Night Live, & Spirituality in the Arts – workshops on incorporating faith and the arts.
