TV rots your brain- and since I am a stay at home mom I fight the battle of TV everyday. I refuse to be an Oprah/Dr. PHil housewife therefore I don't turn on the TV durning the day, I either put on a nice scary movie for my kid to watch HAHAHA or I listen to music, but I will admit that I am a reality junkie in the nighttime I also am totally addicted to the travel channel. Passport to Europe, Anthony Bourdain's no reservations. Anything that gets my brain working a little and makes me feel like I am in touch with the rest of the world and cultures even though I don't get out much.
Every single Clive Barker book ever written, and I have read Imajica twice now. I will admit that Dean Koontz is a guilty pleasure- re-reading some of his shit right now. Anne Rice of course, what kind of goth would I be without her!
My mom, I swear, just have a kid and suddenly your parents seem like fucking saints! Clive Barker is also my hero since I always wanted to be a writer. That man is pure genius
