Hi,
I’m Kim Stenberg, the guitarist from the Norwegian progressive rock band - Magic Pie. I am the main composer/songwriter, producer as well as the founder of the band. We have released two albums "Motions of Desire" (2005) and “Circus of Life†(2007). Both albums were released on Swedish record company Progress Records. www.progressrec.com

SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
I was born March 1975.
I come from a small town outside of Oslo, called Moss.
I live here with my beautiful wife Lene, and our two daughters
Caroline and Marielle.
I started playing guitar at the age of 12.
Early influences were Led Zeppelin, Kiss and The Beatles.
When I moved on to electric guitar, I was very much into the 80´s “shredder†scene and listened to a lot of players from that era.
In the late 90´s, I discovered Al DiMeola and really got into the jazz/fusion oriented side of rock music.
After hearing Images & Words by Dream Theater I got sold on progressive metal, but didn’t really think about starting a prog-rock band until I discovered The Flower Kings.
They really opened my eyes to the whole prog-rock scene witch I wasn’t familiar with at the time. Then I soon got into Neal Morse/Spock´s Beard, and the rest is history…;-)
I just recently discovered Guthrie Govan, and I haven’t been so inspired by a guitarist for the last decade! Go check him out!
Cheers and welcome to my site…Kim

The guitarist is a genius... No doubt, five stars. One of the best new albums I heard in 2007.
