I moved from the southern Oregon coast to Portland a while back. In fact I haven't lived in one place for more than a year since college - my feet get itchy :) Dunno if I'm a big city girl but I'm enjoying it so far. And now that I have a GPS I can drive through downtown without fear of getting lost and dying in a gutter. Yay! Let's see ... I'm a newspaper journalist-turned-farmer. Yeah I know what you're thinking: That girl rocks!!! It's been a recent 180 from writing articles to herding chickens, but it's been a nice change of pace to exercise my body instead of just my brain.I love the outdoors, rainy days, a powder field with my tracks in it, my two psychotic dogs and any type of tomato. I'm trying to look at life as one big adventure with lots of mini journeys in between. It can be scary, but it can be fun too. Someday I'd like to live in the coolest place on earth - Yorkshire, England.
