Dancing on the Rooftop
Cedric worked for a short period at the pepsi-cola factory in Calispell, Montana. Here we would go to the local disco, and boy could he dance! He would S.H.A.K.E all over the place. During this period he wrote the earlier released song, Tonight, but also this, the newest song: Dancing on the Rooftop. Turn up the volume!!
Walking Down the Aisle - C64 - New Version
Cedrics old grandma, sent us this thing that Cedric had left in her MobileHome/Trailer the last time he visited her, just 2 weeks before he died. It turned out it was his old Commodore 64 computer. We used this on Leave the City, but now we also redid Walking Down the Aisle using the C64 for the best sounding drums ever. The C64 is funky!
Leave the City is the title of the latest song released by the duo The Jack Russel Terror.
Apparantly Cedric was a keen outdoorsman and liked nothing better then to stay in the mountains working on his numerous projects. I guess he also liked guns. But then again, who doesn't.
Walking Down the Aisle
We had some problems reading the sheet music with the melody for this song because of water damage after Cedrics boat accident, so we had some help from HÃ¥vard deciphering it. Thanks HÃ¥vard! The lyrics are apparantly a social critisicm, so his sister told me. But if you ask us, they are just wierd.
About the band:
The Jack Russel Terror was the brainchild of the late Cedric Albert Goodwin Jr. He wanted to fuse the beautiful chord progressions of South Dakota soul with good sounding drum machines of the eighties, all played with out-of-tune analog synthesizers to get that human touch. Unfortunately he died in a freak boat accident in the swamps of Florida two years ago. He left us with all his papers, sheet music; everything. So we decided that he, the late Cedric Albert Goodwin Jr., should live on through his music. This is for you Cedric......
The Jack Russel Terror are not as soft and sensitive as one might think. Check out Esteban, lead singer, in his Bronco. This cool short is made by Braindeer (Tom Diddy) and we thank him for making this available.
