OPTICREW is a group of music (Rap, Reggea, Dancehall, Accoustik) of two young named Senegalese artists BY PEE and MAXI FLOW creates at the end of December 2004 in Fass Delorme, large popular quarters of Dakar. Called BY PEE aka " BANDIT" of its true name Mamadou Lamine Faye MAXIFLOW author-rappeur aka " BAKH" of its true name Mouhamadou Moustapha Diop author-type-setter-singer-guitarist. The group wants to be optimistic and spokesperson of without voice; a group of conscious young people having the will to put itself at the service of its country, its district, the company and its nation. Opti-Crew is the symbol even of the engagement of this young generation in full effervescence, filled of life and d' ambition, which wants to sensitize youth sénégalaise and African on certain numbers of diseases such as the VIH/SIDA, paludism etc ..........
The group wants to thus be the lawyer of the children of the street. It is in this direction that they criticize the lack of responsibility for the parents who let trail the children in the streets.Speaking about their musical ambition: Opti-Crew wants to start again the movement “hip Senegalese hopâ€. These young artists are ready to contribute their share so that the African hip hop can rise in the music scene and world. IN 2009 They took part on the first edition of the 72h OF Hip Hop GALSEN in Dakar; then to take part in a compilation produced by a Brazilian LABEL of the name of I-VIBEZ RECORDS. and also to take part in a Compilation to entitle SAVE THE CHILDRENS produced by SHAKA BABS. IN 2009 OPTICREW also individual an official heading BAGNE ZERO left on the Dakar-native Market. The individual one was produced by the label of the name of 77LABEL. For the official exit, Mega concert was organized on February 21, 2009 in the Arts centre Blaise Senghor of Dakar.
