R-A-Z Is a MC from the North West of England, Originating In Bolton the biggest town in Europe which is home to many big names such as Nat Lofthouse, Peter Kay, Paddy Mcguiness, Vernon Kay, Sarah Cox, Amir Khan and the late Fred Dibnah with a large following this young artist alredy has his eye on being the next big thing out of Bolton, Although he has never performed on a stage he has many fans from the UK to Isreal. Back in 2006 when he first started to write lyrics and rap over beats and instrumentals he gained a large following which gave him the idea of starting his own group which then became the birth of LYRICAL BEATZ. Soon after the idea for the name R-A-Z got to work with the artists who he thought was the next best thing, He came accross a young MC with potential that was going by his forename Adam, R-A-Z and Adam clicked from the start and everything they came up with was a hit, A few weeks after Adam decided he needed a MC name and therefore came up with the name EXTRA because he was better than average, R-A-Z and EXTRA represented LYRICAL BEATZ in everything they did and even sported t-shirts and clothing which were requested by many people but never were distributed. With the punchlines and lyrics of R-A-Z and the Flow and creativity of EXTRA, LYRICAL BEATZ we're destined to be big they entertained fans with tracks like YOU AINT NO WIFEY, WELCOME TO ENGLAND, THIS IS HOW IT IS, WIFEY RIDDUM REMIX and their most popular song HONEY BEE which featured LYRICAL BEATZ newest member AMELIA, AMELIA had something that would make LYRICAL BEATZ complete, flow, creativity and a voice that you couldnt help listening to. Then Things started to turn for the worse EXTRA started to gain alot of popularity as a solo artist and he realised he didnt need LYRICAL BEATZ to make it in the music scene. Things started to slow down AMELIA stopped recording songs to focus on her school work which was the best thing really so she had something to fall back on, so R-A-Z had to go solo but things wasnt as easy as he thought they would be, he struggled to find inspiration and stay focused he slowed down from releasing 2 songs a week to 1 song a month, this wasnt good news as he was destined to be big, but in EARLY 2007 R-A-Z came accross another artist by the name of MILLZEE, R-A-Z knew MILLZEE previous to the LYRICAL BEATZ era and although MILLZEE was an artist he used to MC to DANCE MUSIC rather than HIP HOP/GRIME. But this was about to change as MILLZEE released his first track LOVING YOU dedicated to his girlfriend, LOVING YOU sparked the current progress into the creation of THE INTRODUCTION MIXTAPE, R-A-Z realised MILLZEE had something people would want to hear, raw energy and the willingness to try different styles to get his name out. R-A-Z and MILLZEE spoke alot on MSN MESSENGER on what it would be like to release a cd until they just went ahead with it and started to do what they thought was best, That brings us to the current day, The INTRODUCTION MIXTAPE is in progress, EXTRA is a well known established MC, AMELIA stuck with her school work and passed all her GCSE's with flying colours both R-A-Z and MILLZEE are continuing to record songs and collaborating with big names such as SAM HAQUE, R'N'B, B.O.D, A*J & many more... keep locked in to see how this story turns out, will R-A-Z be regarded as one of BOLTON'S BEST one day?
R-A-Z's dream of becoming a well known MC got a little bit closer in august of this year, when he visited TURKEY on holiday, whilst he was there he and R'N'B performed live in two clubs, they dazzled crowds with thier smash hit SUMMERTIME which was a big risk as the song isnt even completed yet, but to thier surprise the crowd loved it and gave a huge reception of applause, one member of the crowd even took pictures and made a video which you can view below, take a look and you decide if big things are on thier way!
