Love.Peace.Unity.Ok, this most recent inspiration below came from a visit to Bob Marley’s house in Jamaca in October 2008. This poem resonates my understanding of the world’s current climate (and I know Im not alone….LOL as John Lennon said…”they think Im a dreamer, but I am not the only one!”)… so everyone…here it goes to one love…!The darkness of the worldLove, peace, unity. Give me you cash it don’t come for free. Watches and chains we accept them to, But don’t expect no change in this society.We’ve lost what we stand for. Or are we the same? Just rubbishing the names of all we praise. Get up, stand up,fight for your right. Give peace a chance, And let one love reunite.Ocean roaring, While world keeps falling. They tried to save us, But we let the rest break us.Crying, suffering, thieving, screaming. This is our world, That we are stealing. No longer with any feeling.Nothing can stop this only we can solve this, Don’t want to seem preaching, It’s just something I believe in. What I ask is still not probably right, But fuck it. At least don’t abuse love and peace tonight.
