Writing screenplays, shooting short films, going to rock/metal concerts, learning to play the guitar, Texas Hold'em, iPod, Leslie, and Butch.
Everyone, with the exception of fans of Good Charlotte, Saliva or Joel Schumacher.
Led Zeppelin, Blink 182, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Incubus, Tenacious D, Queens of the Stone Age, The Bloodhound Gang, Kittie, Deftones, The Roots, Outkast, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, KoRn, Sevendust, Ill Nino, Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Linkin Park, Lamb of God, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Weezer, System of A Down, Chevelle, A.F.I., Mos Def, A Tribe Called Quest, The Apex Theory, Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Bob Marley, Busta Rhymes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Mastodon, Disturbed, Eagles of Death Metal, Nine Inch Nails, Fleetwood Mac, A Perfect Circle, Lacuna Coil, Minus The Bear, THe Rolling Stones, Sinch, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Sour, Sublime, Tom Petty, The Who. I like good, heavy music. I guarantee I'll be the hardest rocking mother fucker that's not onstage at any given show.
All time favorite, hands down, The Blues Brothers. I'm an enormous fan of Kevin Smith, and can't say anything bad about any of his films, although i have yet to see Jersey Girl (UPDATE: I have seen Jersey Girl, and loved it). The Farrelly brothers always come through when they are writing and directing, and I must have seen There's Something About Mary in the theatres a few dozen times. Same with Deuce Bigelow. You can't mess with writer director Cameron Crowe. Almost Famous is priceless. And anytime Spike Jonze is directing or Charlie Kaufman is writing, sign me up. I can only dream to develop concepts as innovative as Charlie Kaufman's. And the scariest movie ever, Stephen King's "It".
South Park, Chappelle's Show, WWE Raw/Smackdown, Sopranos, Deadwood, The Daily Show, The Simpsons, Arrested Development, My Name Is Earl, The Office, Prison Break, Entourage, and any sketch comedy, excluding Mad TV (sucks hard). Uranium, Adult Swim, AMISH IN THE CITY, Inked, Best Week Ever. Digital Video Recorders kick ass.
Mick Foley's autobiographies, "Have a Nice Day" and "Foley is Good". Currently stumbling through "The History of Buddhism" (too many funny words) and Led Zeppelin biography "Stairway to Heaven". I have a stack of film and screenplay books I've yet to make a dent in.
More like inspiration...Mick Foley, Kevin Smith, John Belushi, Cartman, Homer Simpson, and Dave Grohl.
