The purpose of this site is to help improvisers connect with one another and promote their performances. The NYC Improvisers' Alliance (NYCIA) is based in New York, NY, but encourages people around the world to register and submit gig information. From time-to-time, I will list things that I think are relevant. If there is anything you would like me to add, please let me know.
To be considered as a member of NYCIA, a large percentage of your music-making must be free or open. NYCIA welcomes listeners, but only members' gigs will be listed.
INPUT AND FEEDBACK GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! How can this resource be best utilized? You tell me! I would like this to be an organic entity that helps both the performers and listeners. Also, corrections and updated information is welcomed.
