About Me

Hi Everyone, I have recently been deployed in Yokosuka, Japan and I'm looking to try to meet new people and gain new life experience. I am a sailor in the US navy, serving my country, but at the same time using my servitude to see the world. I love Japan so far! It's a great place and everyone here are VERY nice. I met a few Japanese people and really enjoy them, but I would like to meet more people here in Japan (mainly girls who can speak english, even if only a little ;)). Hopefully I'll meet someone here in myspace from Japan. My ultimate dream is to write. I want to write for the Fantasy genre in particular. Part of the reason why I joined the Navy is actually related to this dream. I know it sounds funny, but I join the Navy for life experience. Because the best writers in the world are those who have actually gone out and experience new things and new people. Hopefully, my experience in places like Japan will help me to become a better writer whenever I do decide to start on my Novels. As far as how I look well, lemme see...I'll quickly admit that I'm rather short for a guy (5 feet 5 inches), I'm an African-American, many of my female friends say that I'm attractive but I dunno. I'm kinda shy when it comes to compliments and stuff like that. I like writing, reading, playing videogames, going out and socializing (i.e. clubs and bars, and everything in between), and learning new things.
If you want to be my friend, then feel free to make a request, however, do not request to be my friend just for the sake of adding me or you will find yourself being deleted. I'm above popularity games, I rather have people who actually want to socialize with me. So please keep this in mind if you decide to try to be my friend...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Shakira, the girl of my dreams ;) But that will more than likely not happen so...Females for the most part (Well, I am a guy after all :)). But I don't want to meet any conceited females. I have dated far too many of those in the past, and I'm completely done with them. My dream girl is a down to earth girl who I can feel comfortable being myself with (and she would be comfortable being herself with me). Someone that I can talk to about anything. Someone who's pretty but not neccessarily drop-dead gorgeous (besides, most drop-dead gorgeous girls are high-maintenance, I learned that from my past). Someone who will be interested in me, not how much money I make.It would also be cool (but not neccessarily required) that the girl be into the same thing as I am (A hot gamer girl would be a DREAM GIRL for me!). Also someone who is a Christian would be a great plus, but it isn't required either.
