In the year 82, in the city of Melbourne, this 1st generation Australian "Sebastian Andreev Languiller" was born. With both parents migrating to the country only as teenagers with their parents and brothers due to the dictatorships in Latin America in the mid 70's, the Uruguayan back ground and up bringing was the core foundation for what was to become. With spanish as his 1st learnt language, learning english at kindergarden and while growing up, this kid had no idea what he would be able to do with the excellent domination of both languages and by saying that , being BILINGUAL. Living in an environment where he found himself constantly using either or both languages together, it was not untill he heard one of his biggest inlfuences and older cousin Pavel "THE P.U.P Mulet from Ila Familia that he realised what he was capable of when putting his mind and talents to the pad and pen.Starting his musical career in 2001, he has already had his fair share of spot light. Moving to the city of Sydney in February 2002 saw King Spanglish then known as "MC Seba", join his cousins in Australia's founding latin hip hop crew Ila familia. After an amazing 15 months of work including shows all accros the country aswell as the support act to various international acts such as Ozomatli and Fat Man Scoop to name a couple and an album under their belt, the crew came to an end when the leading/ founding member was incarcerated.As "MC Seba", he had established himslef not only as a performing artist with Ila Familia but also as one of the city's most saught after club MC's. Travelling across the country to work from clubs with thousands of patrons to corporate events for companies such as Vodafone, Adidas and Xbox 360, and Sydney's World Square Fashion parade.2004 saw the creation of his first directing project OZ LOCOS. Along side his associate Cheeky the crew originally consisted of 4 members, with best friend Mandra and Marcos. With the release of their highly anticipated EP Oz Locos Latin Hip Hop, 2005 was the new begining. From the end to 2005 through the whole 2006, Oz Locos made their presence felt and their name known not only amongst the urban industry but branching out into the broader live music scene. Once again, bringing something to the table which no one had been able to accomplish and present with a 2nd to none style and live show since The Ila days. Steppng it up a level, they became the fisrt Australian Latin Hip Hop artist' to establish international contacts & colaborations, with artists such as "Donko & La Secta Crew"(Chile's 1 Reggaeton Crew signed to Don Omar's MVP) & Block Royals "Temperamento"(El Rey de la Tiraera).2007 sees the birth of KING SPANGLISH AKA PAPA SEBA!!!!!!!OK, THIS IS THE DEAL!!!!!!K.S: Ive grown up listening to cats rapping in english, rapping in spanish, rapping in either language but only 1 at a time, OR, dropping 1or 2 words of spanish into the verse or vice versa and calling it SPANGLISH. To the day of today I HAVE NEVER HEARD any rapper whether it be Cypress Hill, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Pit bull, Tony Touch, Beat Nuts or any English and Spanish speaking Artist for that fact, who can speak and spit in both languages perfectly. Dominating the art of MIXING THE 2 TOGETHER, REAL SPANGLISH.Now, my repsect and love goes out to all the artist' who make this music possible as I listen to them and many more, and many have been my influences. Now adays everyone is claiming a title , right?.I'm not claiming to be the king of battle, thats already rightfully owned by TEMPERAMENTO. I'm not claiming to be the king of Latin hip hop (my hat goes off to all the greats).
