I am a worshipper of Jesus Christ, and because of that, I have decided to use the gifts that God has given me, and worship him through the art of music.
I love music, and have been playing music for about 19 years when my dad bought me my first guitar at the age of 3. I am now 22, married (3 years) and am living in Madoc Ontario, Canada, where I work with Youth Unlimted trying to introduce teens to Jesus.
I lead worship at the Baptist Church in Madoc, and also at a monthly event called The Spot which happens at the Highschool. I also travel around a lot with my band The Upper Room, leading others in worship at churches and youth events.
I have never actually sat down and recorded any of the songs that I have written, so I decided that it's time to start doing that, and thus we have, "The One Take Project" It's going to be (as I'm still recording it) just me sitting down with my guitar and a mic and recording. I've got the ability for a fancy CD if I want it, but I'm kinda partial to the laid back sound of just recording to a mic. We'll see what happens.Right Now on my myspace you only see one orignal song (We Come to You) the other 3 are new songs that just kill me every time I hear them, so I had to give them some props until I get some more songs recorded/written. Also my band is not here, its just me, but we'll hopefully be hitting the studio in the near future. Hope you enjoy!
