Hello. My name is Craig and welcome to my Hunting Page! Well first off, I'm NOT a "Trophy" hunter. I don't consider hunting to be a sport and I don't refer to the animals that I hunt as "Game" or "Trophies". I'm not at all oppose to guns, I just choose to strictly be a bowhunter. It's more Spiritual for me. I hunt for what I feel are the right and necessary reasons. Those being: healthy pure protein for the family, species management, hands on conservation, and of course to be a Spiritual part of the natural cycle of life and death. BALANCE. That is what hunting means to me, having Native American blood in me as well as being Pagan. Yes, the overall encounter with an animal is a major rush. Extremely exciting. But for me, it's not all about the kill, or a mount on the wall. Taxidermy is fine when wanting to restore the beauty of an animal you've harvested, as well as the memory of the hunt. I have two deer mounted for ONLY those reasons. Also, I won't hunt an animal that does not need to be managed for overall health and thriving BALANCE. Unless I'm starving ofcourse. :-)
I'm an Eclectic Pagan & I'm also interested in Native American Spirituality. I'm 1/4 Native American: Cherokee and Micmac. The Wolf is my totem. And like a wolf, I hunt, I'm down to Earth, a family person, peaceful, & compassionate. However, if anyone tries to hurt me or my loved ones, I'll tear 'em a new ass! ;-) And for those of you who think that Paganism and Wicca are about evil and devil worship, YOU'RE WRONG!! It's respecting and revering Nature and worshiping Goddesses and Gods. As well as celebrating the seasons and of course, Harming None! There's NO devil or or anything at all "evil" in Paganism/Wicca. So don't let the word Pagan scare you anymore, if it once did. Brightest Blessings.
I have a wonderful 4 year old daughter, Emmalynn. She's my little Sweet Pea and I love her right to pieces. I also have a Wonderful wife who happens to be my soulmate.
