Hi, I'm John of AllFaith.

I've spent much of my life seeking Truth through the various religions, spiritualities and philosophies and have developed my own somewhat unique take on these topics.
I deeply believe in One God. I believe this Being, this Ek Devata, is an individual "Person" Who utterly transcends human consciousness. I believe that the One God is the Creator and Master and Lover of all existence and that historically this Ek Devata sends teachers, prophets and masters into the material multiverse to help guide us onward through the fog.
This is the origin of religion. Humans take the Truth we are given and often as not contaminate it with dogma and political implications the Ek Devata never intended.
I believe the Nature of this Being we call God ("the Good One") is "achintya bheda bheda tattva," which is to say, God is inconceivably, simultaneously one and different from the creation. As children of God we are gods, however as God created everything this simply speaks of our heritage. As the Scripture says:
Psalm 82
1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
I'm also interested in politics as the two are so closely related. This is a most remarkable time to be alive!

The Jews have returned to their God decreed Eretz Israel ! The armies of Islam are following a well defined Project to establish a global caliphate!! The Coming of Dijal or Antichrist is imminent! The US has all but revoked our Constitution and Bill of Rights . An unelected junta leader has stolen the White House and signed the paperwork for the establishment of a legal dictatorship ! A free standing Christian Army has been created, has bases in the US and abroad and is actively at war in our name without any Congressional oversight! The United States now tortures people without regard to International Law and has thrown out all habeas corpus protections (the rock upon which western jurisprudence is based)! Both the "Liberal Peace Movement" on the Left and the so-called godly Patriots on the far Right are calling for the destruction of Eretz Israel and the slaughter of millions of innocent Jews!
On and on it goes! This is a truly remarkable period in world history and perhaps its end!

And in the immortal words of Padmé Naberrie:

"This is how liberty dies. With thunderous applause."

Or perhaps better, the words of Yeats:

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in the sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

This blog is an outgrowth of AllFaith.com and my own personal beliefs. Here you will find many of my views on religion and politics, the two topics one is never supposed to talk about!
Religiously and spiritually I call my beliefs "AllFaith" for lack of a better term. I am convinced that, as the Rg Veda says, "Truth is One, the sages call it by different names."
Through my AllFaith.com website and blogs I share my beliefs with those who are interested. I don't claim to be always correct, just sincere. There's another saying I very much agree with in India, "The lotus grows in the mire," which is to say, "Take truth wherever you find it."

I sincerely invite your thoughts here, whether you agree or disagree with my views on the diverse topics I raise.
I also believe eating and wearing animals is unacceptable. As Dennis Weaver has said: "There will come a time...when civilized people will look back in horror on our generation and the ones that preceded it: the idea that we should eat other living things running around on four legs, that we should raise them just for the purpose of killing them! The people of the future will say "meat-eaters!" in disgust and regard us in the same way we regard cannibals and cannibalism."
Love animals, don't eat them!
And I believe we are living during an historically pivotal time period. The prophesies of many religions are coming to pass before our eyes. I believe the manifestation of the one called the Rex Mundi, the Antichrist or Dijal is imminent. I see his rising in virtually every news headline, even through the filters of our utterly controlled media.
So, you may not agree with everything you find here (I'd be shocked if you did!), but there's lots of food for thought. Let's discuss the issues! You are welcome.
