About Me

Matthew has 17 years of teaching and playing experience. A product of the well respected Humber College School of Performing Arts, Applied Music Program, Matthew continues his education to refine his technique and expand his repertoire. He has studied with many professional drummers such as: Mark Kelso, Don Vickery, Paul DeLong and Ted Warren. His styles of proficiency include: Rock, Jazz, Funk, R&B, Latin, Country, etc.A respected, accomplished artist, Matthew has performed on Drum Set and Vocals around the world with many tribute bands including salutes to Carlos Santana, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Backstreet Boys and The Eagles. A session musician as well, Matthew is constantly in demand for recording, commercials, radio work, etc. Currently, Matthew is playing in "TAXI", a top 40 band around the GTA, writing and arranging.
