-Denzel "Young Zel" Joyce, born April 30, 1992 in Stockton, CA. Zel lived in Stockton until he was 8 years old. Now in Sacramento, his rap sound has a perfect blend of the California style. He first started when he was about 13 years old but stopped after several songs due to his producer bailing but was back at a couple years later in his new group, L.A.C. Young Zel is an extremely versatile artist and his style is similar to E-40. He can get the party started with his verses in "Dancers' Anthem" and "Platinum." But at the same time he can give you a tear-jerker, for example, in former songs "Hard Times" and "Struggle." His sound shows ups and downs, just like any person's life which gives him the ability to have people relate to what he says. Zel is really close with his family and they are the reason why he pursues this as a career rather than a hobby. He knows how proud they will be one day when everything comes together. So if you're ready to dance or going through tough times, Young Zel is the perfect mix.
-Tyler "Spitzkid" Alward, born June 20, 1992 in Santa Cruz, CA. Spitz lived in Santa Cruz for half of his life and moved to Sacramento due to family troubles. Since then, everything has been uphill. In fall 2007, he started his rap career. It was rough at first, but has now turned into a well-balanced artist with a similar sound to local artist, Loki. With his lyrics, Spitzkid can practically paint a picture in your mind such as in "Artistic Anxiety" and "I Hate The World." Spitz also has the ability to mesh his voice well with basses in beats such as in "Nothing" and "Takin' It Back." When writing lyrics, Spitzkid goes into his own world beyond reality, giving a feel in his music like no other. Though many people don't accept white people into the rap game, he is in the process of making his name notable. Along side his partner, Spitzkid's confidence has risen and is becoming a talented hip hop artist.
-L.A.C. - The combination of Young Zel and Spitzkid. Together, they make great music. Their opposite sounds blend together to make a unique sound. Along with their help from Young Zel's father Baqi and their Main Manager, Brian "BLentz" Lentz, they get the support and hook-ups to make this possible. As a duo, they make perfect music, that's right... perfect. With story songs like "Paranoia" and "Evacuate", you feel like you're reading a book with rather than listening to music. They have the talent to utilize samples as well in songs such as "Don't You Know" and "Blow Up." Now with their manager having a near natural talent to produce, the sky is the limit and they will one day touch the sky. One last thing is a special thanks to friend, producer, mixer, and supporter Josh "Demented Child" Kerr. Without him supplying a place to record, give advice, and just have fun, none of this would be possible.
