I am a singer/songwriter residing in Ottawa,On,Canada. I am also a self-taught musician with experience on my church worship team and home recording. The first three years of my life cousin Tyronne(former bandmate)and I traveled the road with a gospel group made up of my parents and aunt and uncle (twin brothers that married sisters). I come from a family of musicians who also perform on my recordings. I have been playing guitar and writing for about 10 years. Four amateur, self-produced albums are to my credit. I have little knowledge about percussion. I would really love some instruction! I splice lines up with the metronome. I really dont know how to describe my sound. Its probably somewhere between Rock and Christian Alternative although not exclusively either way. Some people think I sound like a lower register of Michael Sweet of Stryper. Some of my song topics range from inner struggles to the question of our existence knowing the remedy(christ), to filling in lifes blanks. I tend to shy away from a lot of concerts but am content with just recording and my weekly performance for worship and occasional solos(for now).I really feel my songs touch people. My songs deal with fears and anxieties that are really human traits all of us as humans face. Please feel free to check my lyrics out. Some of the main themes I focus on in my songs are overcoming the odds and being more than a conqueror. I think God would want us to not just have victory over the things that are easiest and what we have already have overcome, but also mountains that we may have dealt with all our lives.
