The Wireless Crew is an Experimental Hip Hop Producers Collective consisting of three members; ARTA , DJ BIZZ-E and MR. BERT. They work mainly with samples. The equipment used are two turntables, a computer, a mixer, Pro Tools/Ableton software.
ARTA: Born in 1992; Listened to hip hop the first time when he was 7 and started listening intensely to underground rap when
he was 10 years old. His interests in producing grew as he saw his big brother(DJ BIZZ-E) deejaying and producing. He's a real
fan of Hijack, Gangstarr, Black Sheep, Edan, Big L, Ultra Magnetic MC's...
DJ BIZZ-E: Born in 1975. He started listening to the Radio when he was only six years old. Sometimes he listened day and night to his favorite radio stations and he built his taste for music. At age 16 he started deejaying after he collected mostly Hip Hop records because he got the Hip Hop virus in 1987. Started producing 'music' in 1995 using an Atari and an Akai sampler. He really likes Ultra Magnetic MC's, EPMD, Gangstarr, BDP, ... (almost everything Hip Hop from '79 till now)
MR. BERT: Born in 1992, started playing saxophone in 2005 and is a Hip Hop junkie since 2004. One of his favourite hobbies is digging for dope records and searching for samples. He listens to Hip Hop from the '90ies till now and also likes Jazz, Psychedelic Rock. He's a big fan of J Dilla, ATCQ, Gangstarr, Jeru Da Damaja, ...
