Cowboy Killers are a four-piece rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founders, Mike Beck and Nick Frisbie, have been playing together since 2003 with several other members throughout the years. Frisbie's unique drumming styles accompanied by Mike’s grungy guitar riffs formulate the ultimate union for a rock band. Lyricist and songwriter, Tyler Smith, was thrown into the mix by early 2006 and the band Major Rock of the Modern Fox was formed… but when bassist and longtime friend David Major left for college in Duluth, things came to a standstill.
Months passed before Mike, Nick, and Tyler decided to make a fresh start. All they needed was a bassist… That’s where Greg, another high school buddy fit in. The band was amazed by Greg's effortless ability to scale the neck with his funky rhythm, but unfortunately Greg also left for college in late August - ironically rooming with original bassist David Major. Nonetheless, the band now has their third bassist. His name is Cody Jarson and he currently attends The Institute of Production Recording in Minneapolis. You can expect upcoming shows, plus their long-awaited debut album is now available!
If you enjoy driving guitar riffs, intense drumming, riveting vocals, and funky bass lines then tune in and rock out to the sounds of Cowboy Killers.
