Thursday Fury "

Punky Radio from December 2008 (Fast Forward to 34 mins - Winamp Required)

Everybody here:-

Thursday Fury was originally started back in March 2005. After a great year of weekly nights, the original venue pulled the plug, leaving the alternative pub scene empty, that no other local pub managed to fill.

After almost a years break, we moved locations in March 2007, and we settled at The Blackhorse pub where we could continue this great music mix.

Unfortuantely, due to the current climate incorporated by our crap government keeping everybody skint, we've have had to call it a day, so please join us one last time on Thursday 16th July and let's raise the roof!

Thursday 18th June

Sadly, another quiet night and a distance cry from the brilliant Joy Division tribute night we opened with at the beginning of the year. I managed to keep some of the locals amused throughout the firs...

Thursday 16th April with guest Paul B. Edwards

With last months night being a tad on the empty side, I was a little trepid about this night, especial with the recent cancellation of DJ Rob. As per usual, the first hour was pretty empty but luckil...

Thursday 19th March - The Jam Special

The start of our third year, and for the first time in a while, it was a really quiet night. If it wasnt for the three friends having birthdays, I reckon we would have been empty, although I guess th...

Thursday 15th January - Joy Division Tribute

Although a tad quiet to start with, we packed out the pub within the hour with some rare local appearances, which is always a treat. Obviously, the decision to move the Joy Division night to last nigh...

Thursday 18th December

Im always a bit dubious of playing closer to Christmas, especially after last years Xmas event. Everybody either seems to be at works parties, or as it seems this year, people have been dropping like...

Thursday 20th November - The New Model Army Tribute Night

Having earlier in the day realised that, once again I'd managed to loose my 10m red rope light after the last Coven by leaving it in the back of the taxi, I decided to not bother with my small UV ligh...

Thursday 16th October - Back To The Source

I had a few worries, this being the first time I'd pretty much used all my own equipment, and what with testing out my new amp for the first time, which luckily turned out to be lovely piece of equipm...

Thursday 18th September - Tubeway Army/Gary Numan Tribute night

Quieter than normal, although I really couldn't tell you who was not actually there (but they know who they are!). Quite a few new faces, which is always very encouraging, and certainly quite a few nu...
