Bacchanal Sisters

After getting first contact to soca through a friend in 2001, experiencing Trinidad several times and finally taking part in carnival 2007 TrinBee - the older sisters - couldn..t resist trying to push the Soca Revolution in Germany a little further. I convinced my sister miss_behave and soon, with unconditional help and support from Martial from Basstone, we had our first performance in Juli 2007 in Halle 02 Heidelberg. Thus we had a pretty good start and we are still thankful for all the help we got. Although it is quite tough road to bring the music we love to the people, we are still not giving up and keep on studying all the aspects of music itself and working on our own style in Soca.What fascinates us about Soca, is its energy and positivity. As a mingled style of caribbean, african and inidan roots Soca definetely reflects Caribbean culture, not only carnival culture. Soca offers so many opportunities, Soca itself has so many different styles and rhythms - it..s never boring and because there are several other islands having a carnival throughout the year and an own carnival culture, Soca Addicts are never without new material.I hope we..ll be able to follow this dream for a while, but one thing is already clear, we will never stop loving Soca.I want to big up all the other Soca - Soundsystems and Artist all over Europe spreading Soca Music, all the Soundsystems, DJ..s and Promoters that gave us Soca - Addicts a chance to promote our style, the small but strong german Soca Massive and the few fans we already have.Don..t forget - it..s a new year, it..s 2Kwine! It..s always de Soca causin de bacchanal! And although there are many changes and even more work lying ahead for the two of us this year, we..ll not give up and stay tuned to what the 2Kwine seasons have for us ! See yah..ll out on de road!..
