Tia has been singing since she could talk, making up lyrics to go to the jazz instrumentals her mother would often play around the house and in the car. She's been writing poems and lyrics for many years and has been recording for about three years now. After spending a year in a girl group by the name of EnAmori, the group disbanded leaving Tia free to pursue her solo music career once again
Tia has been a performer for as long as she can remember. At the age of 3 she began dancing and since then she has mastered almost every type of dance: ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, and even ballroom and latin!
At the age of 7 she began acting in various commercials with her most notable accomplishment being the almost 20 Barbie commercials she starred in. At age 12 she performed in the 2001 Soul Train Music Awards show as backup for R. Kelly's performance of "I Wish", and the following year, producers were so impressed with her 2001 performance that they asked her to come back and perform with Jagged Edge for the 2002 Soul Train Music Awards.
A few years later, Tia took her dancing to the next level and decided to pursue it professionally, choreographing and teaching all over southern california. Tia has taken classes from top choreographers such as Wade Robson and Shane Sparks at legendary LA dance studios like The Edge and Millennium.
Right now Tia is actively modeling for various websites and editorials
But says that no matter what she pursues in the entertainment industry, music will always be her first love and her top priority.
