NINETEEN/STONE

About Me

"Close your eyes and you'd swear AC/DC was in the room with you" If the band had a nickel for every time they heard that..... Nineteen/Stone is an AC/DC tribute band hailing from New Jersey. Formed in June of 2007, Nineteen/Stone is in existence for one reason, their love for AC/DC! Lead vocalist Michael Quinter brings the voice of Bon Scott back to life while at the same time emulating the attitude and stage presence Brian Johnson is famous for. Lead guitarist Mike Zaffarese runs across the stage in a rock n’ roll frenzy inciting a musical riot while flawlessly matching the great Angus Young’s guitar solos! Rhythm guitarist Mark Scot has been a die-hard AC/DC fan seemingly since the day he was born! This is obvious just by listening to the rhythms he belts out so effortlessly! He truly is Malcolm Young personified. Bassist Jeff Scott holds down the fort by laying down all of Cliff Williams' bass riffs just as Cliff does, seemlessly intertwining with drummer Jim Loveless. Jim is a solid, in the pocket drummer that plays Phil Rudd's swinging rock and roll backbeats as if they were his own. Nineteen/Stone has a common bond for their love of the music of AC/DC! The bands goal is to spread the gospel of rock to everyone in need of some High Voltage Rock and Roll, as set forth by Bon, Brian, Angus, Malcolm, Cliff and Phil ! So in the words of the immortal Bon Scott; Let There Be Rock!!!!BTW- If you are wondering about the name Nineteen/Stone.....Listen to some more AC/DC.... or better yet, come see them play! ..
