A diverse musical background early in life set the stage for what was to become DJ Deh’s absorbing fascination with electronic dance music and in particular with the wonderful breakdowns and amazing Buildups of trance. Andre Luis Rubio AKA DJ Deh started his musical journey at the age of 8 with the violin and later guitar, bass and drums. In 1999 he discovered his passion and began to immerse himself in the world of electronic dance music. Within a year, no longer happy just listening to trance, DJ Deh started to mix. A growing reputation for “Good Vibes” led to invitations to mix in local clubs.ATB, Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Robert Miles, Darren Tate, Kai Tracid, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, Marcel Woods and Mauro Picoto influenced the young DJ heavily and in 2005 he began to produce. His remix of the Snow Patrol tune – Open Your Eyes was a highly requested favourite on Brazilian radio.Deh’s sets meld the beautiful melodies of uplifting trance, the grooves of progressive trance and the harder beats of tech trance. He is well received on the dance floor and has a reputation for a “well crafted dance experience”.
