" I can't even remember if there was a time when I didnt want to pursue music", said Kyle Tredway. Starting out piano lessons at the age of 8 from his own wanting was the beginning of something that would unknowingly and drastically change his life. " I started out playing in bands when I was in 5th grade. I cant say I was really dedicated to it till probably the beginning of highschool, when I started to teach myself how to play drums." As things progressed he began to also teach himself guitar and joined a band called 'Quick and the dead', and really started to begin his push with a music career. " Although I was finally touring I think I just realized that this band is just not where I was supposed to be." So about a year off from bands kyle spent that time writing songs for his own album that he was thinking of recording. Eventually in december of 2007, on Christmas day, he flew out to atlanta to record an EP with Matt Goldman(also recorded underoath, cartel, copeland). After spending 3 weeks there recording 5 songs, a record label out in Japan decided they wanted to front him money to make it a full length so they could release it. " I really just couldnt believe that someone had taken an interest so quickly. It was truly a little unreal." So Kyle came home, and co-wrote a few new songs with his good friend Cameron Jaymes(Jaymes Reunion) then drove up to chico CA to record with Jeff Schneeweis(recorded Hawthorne Heights, Brighten, Number One Gun).
Soon After the cd was done and out in japan kyle met up with his friends Justin Carvacho to play drums, and Aaron Eckardt for guitar. Justin and Aaron were recently in a band together (Jessebackwards) and were looking for a new group to start playing in. After practicing for a few weeks they found Nick Puccini for bass. Nick and Kyle had known eachother from playing in Quick and the dead together as well.
" Now that we are this far, there is no turning back," says aaron. So it Seems that My Jeremiah has no intentions of stopping anytime soon. And is definitely a band that you should be paying attention to in the future.
