We'd like to think our music is different from what you already know, and we mean that. But even if you don't agree, it doesn't matter. Come listen and rock out, we think you'll like us.
Some fun facts about the band:
We're a six-person band from Blacksburg, VA.
Blacksburg is home to Virginia Tech. It's also home to a really good donut shop that we like to eat at called Carol Lee's.
We formed in December 2007, right around Christmas. Or Hannukah depending on how you look at it. It was a Christmas miracle. Or Hannukah miracle, again depending on how you look at it.
We like people, so chat us up.
We run our own Myspace and site network so if we comment back, that was us. If we don't comment back, don't take it personally, we're doing the best we can and we still love you. Unless you're being a jerk, in which case we don't love you.
We don't use a DJ, so all the sounds you hear are made by either bass, guitar, drums, electric violin, or our dual vocalists. That includes sirens.
An adult giraffe can run 32 miles per hour. That's 2 miles per hour faster than an adult kangaroo. That's not really about the band, it's just a fun fact.
KC Moyer, one of our lead vocalists, also lends his vocals to local band True Sound . Check them out, they rock. He also has some wicked dredlocks.
Rob Martinez, the godfather of the band, covers the MC tip and heavy vocals. He's part Colombian. That's Colombian with two o's as in South America. So stay on his good side, cabron.
Chris Gustin, on electric violin, fills in the lead guitar portion of the instrumentals. From time to time, he's an air raid siren. He also annoyed his roommate freshman year by turning up his reverb pedal and making whale noises at 2 in the morning.
Kevin Fitzgerald, who fills one half of our Fitzgerald quota, rocks the electric guitar. He's also one of our hardest working members, rocking out with local bands Lee Street Riots and I Am the Speed of Light . That's right, he's in three bands. Crazy.
Jeff Fitzgerald, who is in fact Kevin's brother, is our resident drum machine. In fact, he's better than a drum machine because he has the capacity to love, unlike those lousy robots. So if you find yourself nodding your head to our music, that's Jeff's fault. Blame him. And like his brother, he also rocks out in I Am the Speed of Light . Sweet.
Will Angel, our bass player, brings one of the coolest natural last names to our band that we've ever seen. He also plays bass real good and he'll drop some sick lines, so pay attention. He's rocked out with local bands Labianca and Friendly User and more recently Jumper KO . He's got experience.
So that's us in a nutshell. Check out our music, drop us a message, whatever you want. We're glad to have you here.
