I am the Dancing Astrophysicist :)
Currently, I'm in the Music City - the infamous NashVegas! I was brought here via an interesting path involving moving, grad school, and a love of shakin' my groove thing :)
Amongst the domiciles of my (mostly) un-sordid past are a farm in northern Minnesota, in the city in Palm Springs, CA, in the city/town of Sioux Falls, SD, and in the sprawling metropoli of Minneapolis and Atlanta.
Ever since 7th grade, I've been on the path to astrophysics and I love it :) I love studying my stars and I love to teach people about them - my current goal is to become a professor and I want to make sure to teach introductory astronomy to non-science majors.
Whilst in Minneapolis, I stumbled across the goodness that is rockabilly music and re-stumbled across good ol' country/western swing music and I love to see bands in those genres, none of this pop country crap. I also discovered a love of partner dancing, hence the ballroom and swing dancing. Whilst in Atlanta, I began to realize I also love to shake my booty to techno and have a great time seeing DJs spin. It was also in Atlanta I finally undertook belly dancing :)
