The Glass Jars

About Me

Appalachian string band turned hair metal gods, The Glass Jars play fuzz/folk. By this we mean that they play folk songs, but are equally comfortable playing them in clubs with the volume turned up to 10 or with friends on the sidewalk afterward. Our new album. Buy it. Love it. Subsist upon it. And then invite us to play on your lawn.Download Girl Of All NamesSend us a message if you would like us to mail you a physical copy.

Band Website: ...yea right.
Band Members: LIAM DAILEY: Guitar, Banjo, Vocals among other things.
He also plucks the Jars songs out of the cosmos.THE GREAT DAVID LEE: Bass, Accordion, Guitar, Banjo, Melodica, and everything else you can possibly think of.
In addition to the plethora of instruments at his command, he also has a great way with the Saws, and he is able to coax them into singing for audiences quite often.LUCAS HENRY: Drums, mandolin, glockenspiel, and Violin.
He is trying to learn trombone...JEFFERSON: Tambourine. He also plays a large variety of horns and some guitar but his official position is tambourine player.
Try to spot him without a suit on.THE TROMBORGAN: Tromborgan
Not really a Glass Jars regular, the Tromborgan has been known to drop by and speak his mind on Girl of All Names, as well as whatever else he feels like doing. He also invaded our pond photoshoot, look for him in the wii shirt and carefree smile.

Indian food with cool, sweet lassis. Mario Kart Wii. Outdoor showers. Screaming lyrics to Neutral Milk Hotel at one o'clock in the morning with your friends, and then laughing at them for getting the words wrong. Learning new instruments. Horns that twist around a lot. Finding a sound like the tomb of King Tut.
Sounds Like: "Imagine you put some salsa con queso in your mouth. And then a millisecond later, you put a cookie in your mouth. It's like that."
