About Me

Our story takes place not to long ago in a town far far away...(That's if you live more 100 miles away from it) brothers Steve and Cody were busy forming a band that went by the name Shades of Seven. The name was metaphor because it was the eighth time that Steve tried to form a band originally dubbed Shadows of Seven but was changed to Shades because it sounded cooler. With their cousin playing bass S.O.7. was going strong Meanwhile Steve's best friend Adam was in the process of forming the heavy metal band Paradise of the Blood Army. Both bands hit a rough patch when Steve had remove his cousin from the line due to personal issues, and Adam's band began to dissolve. While his band was on hiatus, Adam offered to help Steve's band. The band eventually changed their name to Jar'd Spiders a name they found on a website where Taking Back Sunday got their name from. The changing the name came about when the friends felt that the name of the band should represent all the members and not just one. For a while the line up was Steve playing guitar and singing, Adam providing lead guitar and backing vocals, and Cody on the drums. For brief period of time Adams brother Ian joined the band playing Bass. Eventually Ian left and was replaced by Steve's close friend Evan. What happen next, can be best described as a perfect storm of sorts as the four friends realized that some how everything that they did seamed to go hand in hand, and the band seamed to constantly gain momentum as they became a very well know name in community. As of today the Jar'd Spider Machine continues to gain steam and shows no signs of stopping!!!
