When the Toughskins started I was living with Kevin & Mike in Fontana, CA. At the time I was spinning reggae at a pub. Danny was playing bass, Kevin singing, Mike playing drums, & Dave answered an ad at the local record shop looking for a guitarist (he could play a mean guitar) & there you have it- The Toughskins. They had one show in a garage & Kevin left the state a short time after. They were fuckin’bugging me to try out, so I finally did since I was at most of their practices getting drunk & I knew most of the words. In 1994 we came out with “4 SHOTS TO THE HEAD†in cassette format, later we came out with “RAISED IN ANGER.†Dave played in all songs in that session but Jodi’s picture appeared on the album because Dave left the band before the record came out. He left The Toughskins, an Oi band for a freakin’ Techno band! (WOW!) I’m still saying “What the Fuck?†Jody came in on guitar, great guy but horrible on guitar. We recorded a few songs but nothing ever came out, I have all the masters & maybe I’ll do something with the tapes someday. It all ended at Rhino’s New Year eve party in Los Angeles a couple hours into 1996. (Boohoo) I started Fully Loaded with Mike on drums, Stan from Bovver Wonderland playing bass & Bill on guitar. Fully Loaded had different member through the years; Steve on bass (Stan’s younger brother) Rolli on guitar, Gramps (bassist for Bovver also Toughskins) Neil on drums (El Cheyon) Moi on bass & guitar (also played for the Toughskins) Junbug on guitar (from Fresno, Ca) Cory from Boston on drums (Fully Loaded&Toughskins)& Troy on guitar (for Toughskins) Moi & me had a side project called Infidels, you could check out songs from all groups mentioned, on this site. My last gig was March 17, 07 at the Airliner in L.A. with a backing band (Moi’s band-Johnny Rucks). We played songs from The Toughskins & Fully Loaded as always, pictures on their way-
