DEAN JAMES SILVA
Dean James Silva has led an incredibly storied career and continues to live out his passion for music in the rock industry. At the age of twelve Dean began to sing and play the drums at his local church. At eighteen, he relocated to Los Angeles, California and began making a name for himself as a singer and songwriter. For a few years toured the local circuit recording and opening for artist such as Leslie West, Vince Neil, Vanilla Fudge and Tony MacAlpine. Later, he relocated back to New York to continue developing a catalog of songs. In 2007, Dean started to get recognition for his singing and songwriting on the Internet based music site OurStage where he hit six top ten singles including the song Kiss Another Day Goodbye that went number one. In March of 2008 Metal Edge Magazine noted Dean as the Writer of the Month. Later in 2008, he began his quest to put together the band SILVAROSE.
BRIAN McKEEVER
Brian started his guitar playing career at the age of eleven. Influenced by the guitar hero’s of the time he began studying the styles of artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoades, Jimmy Page and David Gilmore. At the age of sixteen he ventured into playing the club circuit with a variety of cover bands. He continued to develop his craft and soon began a new career becoming a session guitar player. He has played and recorded in many venues and recording studios from New York to Los Angeles. Tyler Juliette (American Idol & Making the Band), Chris Pinnick (Chicago) and Michael Hanson (Glass Tiger & Steve Vai) are just some of the more notable artist that Brian has recorded with in the studio. He also has opened for many major acts such as The Psychedelic Furs, Men At Work and Pete Best (the original drummer from The Beatles).
JAMES SILVA
James is the youngest and newest member of SILVAROSE. In the search for a bass player, it was only fitting to look no further than Dean’s younger brother James. He grew up watching and listening to Dean as he developed his musical skills. James has been playing in original rock bands for several years throughout the Long Island, NY area. In 2006, James toured the east coast with his band Here After with Victory Recording artist Four Letter Lie. It was only a matter of time before he would get together with his brother to complete the SILVAROSE lineup.
LEE NELSON
Lee began his professional drumming career at the early age of thirteen years old. He was fortunate enough to collaborate with local musicians that introduced him to the New York rock and roll scene. Even though he was only thirteen years old, he began playing clubs such as the legendary CBGB’s, Café Wah, and The Dive Bar on a regular basis. By the age of sixteen, he recorded his first professional record that was distributed in the United States and Europe. Over the past twenty years, Lee has played at major venues and recording studios throughout the United States. He has toured the United States and Europe opening for acts such as Buckcherry, Dope and Black Label Society. In 2007, he had the opportunity to play The Fields of Rock festival in Holland, which featured Ozzy Osborne, and Iron Maiden sharing the headlining honors. Casey King, founder of The Guitars for Life Research Foundation calls Lee, “ one of the world’s best exhibition drummers.†Now, Lee is focusing his energy writing and supplying the drive for SILVAROSE.
