I love music. It's so amazing how there is a song for every situation that you may be going through. I love getting lost in a good book or snuggling up in a blanket and watching a movie. I also love baseball. Baseball was my first love. I absolutely hate the damn Yankees (but love talking baseball with any fan).
About Me
I love the smell of new books. And I love the smell of old books. So I guess you could say I love the smell of books. "It's a Wonderful Life" is the one movie that can always cheer me up, no matter what. I tend to overuse commas, or so I have been told. The first compact disc I ever bought with my own money was Amy Grant - Heart In Motion. When I was little, I wanted to marry my cousin.
I wanted to grow my hair as long as Crystal Gayle's, but I got bored. My first love was baseball. My second love was Billy Dean. My one, true, great love is Steve. I believe that children have so much to teach us, if we just open our eyes, ears, hearts and minds. Don't mess with my family or you will get hurt. That's not a threat, that's a promise. The BFG was the book that made me fall in love with reading. My first memory is of listening to "In the Jungle" on my mini record player while my dad was napping. I spoil my niece and nephew. They are of the canine persuasion. I yearn for the days when I thought dandelions were the prettiest flowers on earth. I like everything in it's place, but I'm a procrastinating perfectionist, so this rarely happens. I grew up in a neighborhood where every kid on the block would play hide-and-go-seek, before and after dinner and our parents never had any reason to worry. I would love to travel all over the world and experience the beauty of each different culture. I have a difficult time saying no. My first childhood friend was very bossy, which could explain my need to please everyone. My dad thinks I'm an old woman trapped in a 22 year olds' body because I love old movies. My first concert was Sandi Patti at the state fair. My brothers used to pick on me until I cried. They still pick on me, but I don't cry as much. I'm a hopeless romantic. I used to have a cat that weighed 18 pounds. I liked to dress him in doll clothes. He loved me. I used to think that all girls sucked (and some of them do), but along the way, I've met a few great girls who shattered all of my preconceived notions. I would do anything for them. I love working with children. I become overwhelmed by the phenomenal beauty that is nature. A good song is based on lyrics and heart, not the beats.
I have an absolutely amazing boyfriend, Steve. He has taught me to dream big, push until you succeed and to walk through life with a smile. :) I have never met anyone else like him. I love him!
These are some of the most important people in my life!

Rachel Mc Adams is my idol. She's so beautiful, talented and down to earth.
Judy Garland is a classic and timeless beauty.
I may be her "rock," but she is my " 'n' roll." Together, we make a great combination:
