ONE LIFE RECORDS is an ASCAP registered Northern California based independent music label specializing in spiritual hip hop & neo-soul. The idea to create the label was inspired by President James E. Seay III. In 2001 following the murder of his close friend Ken Simon. James was reminded of a saddened reality that you are only given one life to live on earth hence the name "ONE LIFE RECORDS". Since then the goal has been to produce breathtaking music that inspires listeners to not only dance but seek the truth of eternity from thoughtful and catchy lyrics. ONE LIFE RECORDS also takes pride in being the first record label to publicly recognize the need for sustainable living by partnering with Playback Clothing. They also support affordable clothing and that is clear with their sponsorship of legendary skateboarder Mike McGill's company Airspeed Footwear who exclusively sells in Walmart's across the United States.
Performing songwriter & producer, has been writing songs since 2001 and producing since 2003. Jamar E. Seay began songwriting and shortly after that learned to produce music on keyboards. His hit single "World Domination" just after a week of release online was ranked 3 out of 1,260,000 hip hop songs on soundclick.com. Producer, has been playing piano since 1987 being learned in classical, salsa, trance, electronic, rock, neo-soul and hip hop etc. In 2003 they added this latino super-producer to the mix adding his zesty flavor to the variety of creation. Being both Mexicano & Nicaraguense, Scariano blends his knowledge of classic bay area rap with other genres throughout the world. Scariano recently produced hit single "World Domination" which was voted 3 out of 1,260,000 hip hop songs on soundclick.com after only a week of being released online. Since then he has collaborated with Internationally known FORD Model Ethan James, London Mega model Ayesha Jones, and Congo's Finest Annabelle Assiabo. Recently he has been collaborating with the new Texas latin flavor of Anita Benner of Los Bad Apples. Instrumentals of Scariano can be heard on every episode of the online tv program "The Jamar Seay Show".

Early in 2009 he was actually featured in the world reknown GQ Magazine. Although he can maneuver through the smoke and mirrors his passion lies in the creation of traditional hip hop.
