ESPN 97.5 The Ticket is THE sports radio station in Houston, Texas, under ownership of Cumulus Media. The station’s transmitter facility is located east of Houston in an area of Chambers County south of Winnie, Texas.KFNC serves as the Houston sports radio affiliate for ESPN..Various ESPN Radio programs, most notably Mike & Mike in the Morning Show, air on KFNC’s schedule.KFNC launched a local sports talk show in January 2007 titled The Bottom Line with Houston Chronicle sportswriter Jerome Solomon (who goes by "King Solomon" in his Chronicle articles).KFNC added Houston Rockets hall of famer Calvin Murphy an he is now hosting a two-hour sports talk show airing from 5pm until 7pm M-F. This is Murphy’s first broadcasting job in Houston since his departure in 2004.
