About Me
Allow myself...to introduce... myself
Halo ^|^
Let me start with this, I'm like an onion, I have many layers. That was cute, smile :)
I .... Love .... My .... Life!
I am who I am. Confident, happy, free-thinking, independent and in the pursuit of love, compassion, knowledge & happiness.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony -Gandhi
I meditate, self-reflect and embrace my Spirituality. I love, I study, and practice what I preach. I've been awakened. "When you assume responsibility for your experiences, your life becomes meaningful and you become capable of relationships of substance and depth." -Gary Zukav
"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
Family is the most important thing to me, I love them and cherish them beyond belief.
I grew up in California (Central Coast), moved to Flagstaff, Arizona January 2005 for school and then to Vegas in January 2006. Vegas is one of my many teachers, teaching me about who I am right now. But I'm embarking on a new feeling, the feeling for a new adventure. I don't know where it will take me, but it's exciting to think about it :) One of my greatest passions is living with passion and purpose.
I'm intrigued and frankly fascinated with the dynamics and levels of relationships. It thrills me to research the psychological layers that make us attracted to one another. What makes us do what we do, think what we think and so forth. How all of our actions are based off of either the pleasure we have experienced or the pain we have felt at one point in our life. Those two things make us do unexplainable things to each other.
"The beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand." -Frank Herbert
I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells.
I honor the place in you which is of LOVE, of TRUTH, of LIGHT, and of PEACE.
When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are ONE.
*Namaste!*
"We can let the circumstances of our lives harden us so that we become increasingly resentful and afraid, or we can let them soften us, and make us kinder.
We always have the choice."
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." -Leo Buscaglia
On a much lighter note :)
Well, I used to be a plastic surgeon, but the money wasn’t that good. So, I went to school to become a lawyer, I noticed they're all jerks. Me already being a jerk, I quit. I figured what's the point? Realizing, I had a sparkling personality, all ten fingers and toes, and marginal taste in appropriate dinner conversation, I became a grunt for a major resort and casino on the strip specializing in relationships in my spare time. ha.
Years ago I unearthed the meaning of life but forgot to transcribe it. I favor the colder side of the pillow. I delight in driving with my windows down listening to music as loud as I can stand. Winking. Pin-ups. Lip gloss. Piercings. Two books & nun-chucks permanently reside in my purse. I cage fight, am a ninja & have been known to tread water for three consecutive days. Children trust me and I converse with Elvis at least once a week. I bake thirty-minute brownies in twenty & don't speak Ebonics. What others think of me is none of my business. I care more about the contents than the box and character is far more important than the size of your britches. I sucker-punched an angry black bear in Montana cause he flicked me the evil eye. Did a better forward roll than anyone in my 4th grade class, beat anorexia, animals taste good & I'm obsessed with adjectives, the thesaurus & algebra. I drive like a fighter pilot in a really really ridiculously good-looking car, that yes, I PAID FOR. Can dance circles around you. I want to witness all 7 wonders of the world, get my pilot's license and frolic on one of those huge trampolines for two days straight. The law of physics has never applied to me. On weekends, to get out extra energy, I participate in full-contact origami & spar with Chuck Norris. I came. I saw. I conquered.
I l♥ve my life!
