Pat Escobar first went on stage at the age of four and by the time she was thirteen started acting professionally in the 1st International Drama Festival, with the play: "Life and Time of David Clark", directed by Bob Wilson.This was followed by many courses, labs and countless stages. Pat grew up inside Brazilian theater's history. Daughter of actress and entrepreneur Ruth Escobar, she witnessed historical moments that gave her a great knowledge in many segments of the artistical environment. She worked with Ademar Guerra in "Teleteatro" at Cultura TV, participated in productions such as " A Revista do Henfil", "Caixa de Cimento", among others. She had her début as a singer in 1981, with the band "Metalurgia" (Bocato). For two years she studied French Horn at São Caetano´s Art Conservatory and Lyric singing - Bachelor´s Degree and Teaching License - at Santa Marcelina College at the time Eládio Perez Gonzáles and Martha Herr were teachers there. She continued at the Brooklin Paulista Conservatory, where she studied with Conductor Marcelo Mechetti and Marta Laurito. It was at this time that she started singing intensivly in São Paulo´s night scene and in concerts all over Brazil. She participated as vocal leader in the album "Origens", by Filó Machado and performed as a crooner in balls, night clubs and carnival festivities for ten years.Under the guidance of Armando Aflalo (a well-known jazz critic), Pat was introduced to Vocal Jazz and was later directed by him in a tribute to Billie Holiday.By then she was performing in many Brazilian cities, in Portugal and California, singing Jazz, Blues, Samba, Bossa Nova, and Chorinho. In Brazil, she was a constant presence in the most renowned night clubs, accompanied by very well-known musicians such as: Filó Machado, Ademir Cândido, Olmir Stokler ("Alemão"), Michel Leme, Azeitona (bass), Mutinho (Lupicínio Rodrigues Sobrinho), Rogério Botter Maio, Luís Carlos Vinhas, Moacyr Peixoto, Laercio de Freitas (Tio), Leandro Braga, Evaldo Guedes, Silvio Mazzuca (bass), Itamar Collaço, Bocato, Zé Bicão (Zé Alves),Luiz Eça, Edmundo Cassis, Walmir Gil, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Sizão Machado, Mozar Terra, Zerró Santos, André Marques,Nenê, Vinícius Dorin, among many others. She participated at the opening of the 6th International Drama Festival with the French singer, Michel Moglia and the Uakti group, in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo. In 1997 she recorded her first album with the Eldorado recording company, produced by Solano Ribeiro, who had launched names such as Elis Regina and Leila Pinheiro. Actively participating in tributes to the great "divas" of Jazz and Blues, she is frequently invited to participate in jam sessions singing Billie Holiday, Betty Carter, Dinah Washington, Sara Vaughan repertoires.Besides being a singer, Pat Escobar is an Acting-Coach, having specialized in Bioenergy with Al Baumanm, Musictherapy and "Regenerating Sound" with Maela Paul, Tibetan Singing with Silvia Nakkach, Psychotrance with Dr. Eliezer Mendes, Ego Eneagram with Claudio Naranjo, building up her experience with S.Keleman, Alexander technique with Eleanor Rosenthal and cranio-sacral therapy with Emily Deer. She also studied yoga, neurolinguistics, psychodrama and Chinese, Sufi and Tibetan respiration techniques.Pat coached many artists such as: Claudia Ohana, for singing in the soap opera "Vamp"; Luíza Tomé for her role in the soap opera "A Indomada" and for the film "O Cangaceiro"; and was the vocal counselor for the French director Alan Maratrat, disciple of the famous Peter Brook School.As Acting and Voice teacher, she worked for five years in Drama schools and afterwards at the Fatima Toledo Studio (Movie and Television) where she taught for two years and a half.For the last seven years she has been teaching Popular Singing at the Tom Jobim University of Music (ULM), in São Paulo, where she directed a research and concert with 64 singing and 14 instrument students on the musical work of Elis Regina in October 2003,"Elis uma Sabiá", at the São Pedro Theater in São Paulo. In 2004, Pat directed a research and concert based on the history of Vocal Jazz from the 1930´s until today. Currently, she´s finalizing her three latest albums and a book about Vocal Technique and Health ("Liberdade Vocal"), with her own "method" developed throughout all these years of Singing and Interpretation teaching, with specific exercises for the Brazilian Popular Music: Samba, Bossa Nova, Chorinho, etc... ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................... Pat's, she sings like the great singers ... sweet and tender, no doubt she´ll be eternal..................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ..................................................... .. ......Pat Escobar subiu ao palco com quatro anos de idade, e aos treze anos estreou profissionalmente no 1° Festival Internacional de Teatro, com o espetáculo “Life and Time of David Clark”, dirigido por Bob Wilson. Então seguiram cursos, laboratórios e muitos palcos. Pat foi criada dentro da história do teatro brasileiro, filha da atriz e empresária Ruth Escobar, vivenciou momentos históricos que lhe permitiram vasto conhecimento em muitos segmentos do meio artístico. Trabalhou com Ademar Guerra em “Teleteatro” na TV Cultura, participou de montagens como, “A Revista do Henfil”, “Caixa de Cimento”, entre outros. Estreou como cantora em 1981, na banda Metalurgia (Bocato). Estudou Trompa por dois anos no Conservatório das Artes de São Caetano. Fazendo canto lírico – bacharelado e licenciatura, na Faculdade Santa Marcelina. Foi aluna nesta mesma época do professor Eládio Perez Gonzáles e Martha Herr. Prosseguiu seus estudos no Conservatório Brooklin Paulista, aonde estudou com o maestro Marcelo Mechetti e Marta Laurito. Foi nesta fase que começou a cantar intensamente na noite paulistana e em Shows pelo Brasil. Participou do musical “Evita”, como soprano dramático. Estudou interpretação para canto com Mirian Muniz, sendo por ela dirigida em dois shows. Participou como vocalista do álbum “Origens”, de Filó Machado. Manteve-se como crooner em bailes, boates e carnavais por dez anos. Sob a tutela de Armando Aflalo, iniciou seus conhecimentos sobre Jazz Vocal, sendo dirigida por ele, mais tarde, numa homenagem a Billie Holiday. Apresentou-se em várias Capitais do Brasil, Portugal e na Califórnia, com interpretações de jazz, blues, bossa, samba, canções e chorinhos. No Brasil, atuou sempre nas mais conceituadas casas noturnas, muito bem acompanhada por renomados músicos como: Filó Machado, Ademir Cândido, Olmir Stokler( Alemão),Michel Leme,Azeitona (bass),Mutinho(Lupicinio Rodrigues Sobrinho),Rogério Botter Maio, Luís Carlos Vinhas, Moacyr Peixoto,Laercio de Freitas [ Tio ],Leandro Braga,Evaldo Guedes,Silvio Mazzuca (bass),Itamar Collaço, Bocato, Zé Bicão( Zé Alves), Luiz Eça, Edmundo Cassis, Walmir Gil, Arismar do Espírito Santo,Sizão Machado, Mozar Terra, Zérró Santos, André Marques, Nenê, Vinícius Dorin, entre tantos outros. Em 1997 gravou seu primeiro CD pela gravadora Eldorado, com produção de Solano Ribeiro, produtor este, que lançou nomes como Elis Regina e Leila Pinheiro. Ativa participante aos tributos às grandes “DIVAS” do jazz’an blues, é convidada com freqüência para participar de jam’s sessions com repertório de Billie Holiday, Betty Carter, Dinah Washington, Sara Vaughan... Além de cantora, Pat Escobar é Acting-Coach - treinadora de atores. Já preparou nomes como: Claudia Ohana, para cantar na novela “Vamp”; Luíza Tomé para a atuação na novela “A Indomada” e para o filme “O Cangaceiro”; e foi a orientadora vocal para o diretor francês Alan Maratrat, discípulo da renomada escola de Peter Brook. Como professora de voz e de interpretação, trabalhou por cinco anos em escolas de teatro, depois foi para o Stúdio Fátima Toledo,(cinema e televisão) onde lecionou por dois anos e meio. Nos últimos sete anos, é professora de canto popular na Universidade Livre de Música, ULM Tom Jobim, em São Paulo. Em seu periodo de ensino na Tom Jobim, dirigiu pesquiza e show com 64 alunos de canto e 14 alunos de instrumento sobre a Obra Músical de Elis Regina, em outubro de 2003, estrearam o “Elis uma Sabiá”, no Theatro São Pedro, em São Paulo. Em 2004, dirigiu pesquiza e show, com alunas de canto, sobre a tragetória do Jazz Vocal, de 1930 até os dias de hoje.. Prepara atualmente a finalização de seus três últimos Cds, e um livro de Técnica e Saúde vocal, com o seu proprio Metodo desenvolvido ao longo desses anos de ensino de Canto e Interpretação Vocal,"LIBERDADE VOCAL" .

Pat Escobar monte sur scène à l’âge de quatre ans, et, à l’âge de treize ans a son début professionnel dans le premier Festival International de Théâtre avec le spectacle “Life and Time of David Clark”, dirigé par Bob Wilson. Puis, se sont suivis plusieurs cours, plusieurs laboratoires de théâtre et de scènes variées. Pat a été élevée dans « l’histoire » du théâtre brésilien, fille de l’actrice et entrepreneuse Ruth Escobar, a vécu des moments historiques qui l’ont faculté un large champ de connaissance dans une grande variété de segments artistiques. Pat a travaillé avec Ademar Guerra dans le “Teleteatro”, dans la TV Cultura, elle a aussi participé des montages telles que: “A Revista do Henfil”, “Caixa de Cimento”, et d’autres. Elle débute comme chanteuse en 1981, dans le groupe Metalurgia (Bocato). Pat a étudié du cor pendant deux ans au Conservatoire des Arts de São Caetano et du chant lyric – bacharelado e licenciatura – dans la Faculdade Santa Marcelina. Elle a aussi été élève (à cette même époque) des professeurs Eládio Perez Gonzáles e Martha Herr. Puis elle poursuit ses études de musique au Conservatório Brooklin Paulista, oú elle étudie avec les professeurs Marcelo Mechetti et Marta Laurito. C’est à cette époque qu’elle commence a chanter intensivement dans les soirées de São Paulo et dans des shows par le Brésil. Elle a participé du spectacle musical « Evita » en tant que soprano dramatique. Ces études d’interprétation pour le chant ont été faits avec Mirian Muniz qui lui a aussi dirigé dans deux shows. Pat a participé, en tant que vocaliste de l’album « Origens » de Filó Machado. Pat a aussi chanté dans de bals, boites de nuit, et des carnavals pendant dix ans. Sous l’orientation de d’Armando Aflalo elle s’est initiée au Jazz Vocal. Armando lui a aussi dirigé, plus tard, dans un hommage à Billie Holiday. Elle s’est présentée aussi dans plusieurs métropoles brésiliennes, au Portugal et en Californie, en interprétant du jazz, du blues, de la bossa, de la samba, des chansons et des chorinhos. Au Brésil, Pat a chanté dans les plus importantes boîtes de soir, toujours três bien accompagnée par de renommés musiciens tels que : Filó Machado, Ademir Cândido, Olmir Stokler( Alemão),Michel Leme,Azeitona (bass),Mutinho(Lupicinio Rodrigues Sobrinho),Rogério Botter Maio, Luís Carlos Vinhas, Moacyr Peixoto,Laercio de Freitas [ Tio ],Leandro Braga,Evaldo Guedes,Silvio Mazzuca (bass),Itamar Collaço, Bocato, Zé Bicão( Zé Alves), Luiz Eça, Edmundo Cassis, Walmir Gil, Arismar do Espírito Santo,Sizão Machado, Mozar Terra, Zérró Santos, André Marques, Nenê, Vinícius Dorin, entre autres. En 1997 Pat enregistre son premier CD par la maison de disc Eldorado, production de Solano Ribeiro, (producteur qui a lancé aussi des nomes tels que : Elis Regina et Leila Pinheiro). Paralellement, Pat Escobar est aussi Acting-Coach – entraineuse d’acteurs. Ayant déjà préparé des noms importants: Claudia Ohana, pour chanter dans le feuilleton “Vamp”; Luíza Tomé pour jouer dans le feuilleton “A Indomada” et pour le film “O Cangaceiro”; Pat a été aussi orientatrice vocal pour le directeur français Alan Maratrat, disciple de la renommé école de Peter Brook. En tant que professeur de chant et d’interprétation, Pat a travaillé pendant cinq ans dans des écoles de théâtre, puis elle commence a enseigner dans le Stúdio Fátima Toledo,(cinéma et télévision) où elle reste pour deux ans et demi. Pendant les derniers sept ans Pat enseigne du chant populaire dans l’Universidade Livre de Música, ULM Tom Jobim, à São Paulo, où elle a dirigé la recherche et le show sur l’--uvre musicale d’Elis Regina avec 64 élèves de chant et 14 élèves d’instruments. En octobre 2003 ils ont fait l’ouverture du spectacle “Elis uma Sabiá” dans le Theatro São Pedro, à São Paulo. En 2004, Pat dirige la recherche et show, avec les élèves de chant, sur la trajectoire du Jazz Vocal, de 1930 jusqu'à nos jours.
