I am not normal. With that said, iTodd (Todd Hunt's his real name but iTodd sounds so much cooler) was raised on the rough streets of Clare, Michigan, in a tough middle class neighborhood. When he was six he wanted a shotgun to shoot crap with like any normal 6 year old Michigan kid. Hey, Ted Nugent is our role model. Instead of getting a shotgun, his parents decided to get him a guitar. Looking back now, his parents wish they would have made the wiser choice and bought the shotgun instead, but they didn't and still live with the regret. iTodd decided to pick up the guitar after his anger was eased by medication and therapy.
He also found out that a cheap solid body guitar will do a lot of damage to crap when you swing it like a baseball bat.
iTodd practiced and practiced and practiced and finally now, after 35 years of trying, he can play the opening chords to "Stairway To Heaven"...almost. Life is great.
Over the years, iTodd has seen a lot of TV. Walked a mile in no one's shoes. Wasted a lot of time. Accomplished nothing. Done less than expected. Amounted to nothing. Played with himself. Let me rephrase that. He has played the guitar all by himself but I also know for a fact that he has played with himself. Hey, he's from Michigan. It's cold up there.
The most dreadful, dreary, awful, dark, dismal occurrence happened in 1997. iTodd married the daughter of Satan. It was the lowest point in his life. Luckily, he divorced the thing and moved on with his life. Medication and therapy were also big helps once again.
Good things come to those that wait though, and in 2007, iTodd married the most wonderful woman in the world and is living happily ever after in a trailer house down by the lake.
iTodd has been told he sounds like guitar legend, Chet Atkins when he plays. People say he sounds like Chet. iTodd has said many times that when he started in music, his goal was not to get rich and famous and so far it has worked out better than expected.
Have you heard his last album? We all hope so.
Currently, iTodd is living down by the river, in a van, trying to follow his dream of one day becoming something other than what he is already, which is a nothing. They had to sell their trailer to buy the van but it's home. No names have been changed to protect the innocent and several animals were harmed in the making of this.
All kidding aside, iTodd has been blessed by GOD and is thankful for his wife and family and the many blessings he has received. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
