I started playing guitar at the age of 8 (a spanish one), trying to play ALL the Bryan May's soloes with Queen... Well, I tried it overdriving the acoustic sound with a microphone and any two amplifiers... Saturate the first one to the limit and you have a crazy spanish fuzzy sound in the second one. Wow!!! :)
Later I realized I needed a little more, so, I got my first electric guitar and my first amplifier. Started to play and to learn thanks to a friend (un saludo desde aquà David G. Falcon!!!). Despite I had never a teacher or something like that, I was able to start learning by myself with books and hearings from guitar musicians... I early discovered Joe Satriani (Hi Joe), Steve Vai (my best, greetings Steve), Yngwie Malmsteen (you are crazy fast, man) and a lot of other influences: Hendrix, Tony Macalpine, Van Halen, Deep Purple, ... The first theme I heared from Satch was "Friends" and I started to play it until I could play it completely.
Well... I've been playing since then, alone in home, with other people, most of the time as a hobbie and I just want to share my recordings with all the interested people... Perhaps we could record some ideas with the help of internet... Do you imagine? My guitar here, your guitar in Australia, your voice i Japan, your bass in Germany and your drums in Italy... hehehe... It would be really interesting, wouldn't it?
Greetings, Daniel Lazarus.
