MY BROTHER WHO DIED ON MARCH 18th OF LAST YEAR.
HE HAD MANY FRIENDS HERE,I DECIDED TO JOIN,
SOMEHOW HELPS ME FEEL CONNECTED.
THE PAIN OF LOSING HIM WILL NEVER
GO AWAY BUT I DO PRAY FOR IT TO EASE ME
FROM THE WORST OF IT. I AM
THANKFUL FOR THE 35yrs I HAD WITH HIM.
I KNEW THAT IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG, HE WOULD FIX IT,
AND NOW I AM EXPERIENCING THE MOST UNDESCRIBLE PAIN
IN MY LIFETIME AND I CAN'T LEAN ON HIM
AND DEPEND ON HIM TO KNOW WHAT TO DO...
BUT I DO KNOW I WILL SEE HIM AGAIN
ONE DAY. I HAVE ALSO LEARNED OVER THE TIME SINCE HE HAS PASSED THAT HE
IS STILL HERE WITH ME. IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO
REALIZE THAT, FOR HIM TO GET THROUGH TO ME BECAUSE I
AM A VERY STUBBORN PERSON, BUT HE DID IT, MY HERO.

I pray that noone will ever even begin
to understand the pain I've experienced since losing him.
I actually thought that I would die myself shortly after
he did; not that I would ever think of hurting myself
only to surely kill my ma and ruin my children's lives.
I just thought that when he died that I must be going soon,
as I have never left his side for long.
But God must have other plans for me here until we meet again,
and I trust his judgment more then anything. It takes
ALOT, more then most people know or could possibly
understand, for me to call someone my hero.
My brother raised me to be a very strong, independent,
and also spoiled woman who rarely knows just what
it is I want but ALWAYS know who I am and what I expect
from others who claim to care for me. I take that title
very seriously, so you know if someone is MY hero,
so the person who I think that highly of must
really be somethin....i don't like too many people.
Sad but true, I've learned through my lifetime that
I must have love in my heart for everyone, thanks to my
beautiful mom. But to like/love someone with all my heart,
just for who they are, thats a totally different thing.
And there aren't as many of you as there should be
out of oh so many people who call themselves my friends,
but those of you who I do love and respect,
you know who you are, and I want to thank you
for being in my life. I am truly blessed, because though I have
lost my big brother and my only hero for so many years,
I have 3 sons who have now become adults and are
the only ones in my life now who have earned that title
