Westcoaster is a collaboration between Bridport guitarist Mitch Norman and Devon-based fiddle duo Nick Wyke & Becki Driscoll.
Mitch and Becki have worked together in various formations since 1996 first of all playing on the pub circuit around Dorset and latterly the folk festivals.
Nick and Becki started working together on a busking trip around Spain and the two duos formed a trio on their return!
Westcoaster take their name from a tune written by Scottish fiddle player Angus Grant. Their demo recording (listen on myspace!) is taken from a recorded rehearsal in the spring 2007.
