About Me

Stephanie Clark is a recent graduate of the University of the Texas at Austin where she completed a master's degree in opera performance. Most recent performances include a Sunday Soiree with Michigan Opera Theater, Soloist in Handel's Messiah with Mesa Symphony, and soloist in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Scotttsdale Symphony. Ms. Clark was recently seen as Blanche in Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites with the the UT Butler Opera Center, Mimi in La Boheme with the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio in the historic Majestic Theater, the First Lady in Opera the Ozarks 2005 production of Die Zauberflote as well as Pamina in their children's opera, Little Flute, and Micaela in the Butler Opera Center production of La Tragedie de Carmen. She was a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions in the Southwest Region in 2006 and in the Western Region in 2001. Ms. Clark has also been a sem-finalist in the Dallas Opera Guild Vocal Competition in 2006, a finalist in the Palm Springs Opera Guild Vocal Competition in 2000, and has won several awards from the NATS Organization.Ms. Clark can be seen in the future as the soprano soloist for the Handel's Messiah with the Mesa Symphony in December 2007 and she is currently working on a CD project titled Lullabies with accompanist, Jean Schneider.
