Kendra Glenn was born in Chicago Illinois. She comes from a musical family and she realized her gift at the age of 10 yrs old. She grew up singing in the church choir, performing at many talent shows and events. Music is and will always be her first love! She moved to the Twin Cities in the early nineties. Kendra is definitely making a name for herself, she was a member of the MaxxBand the premier 70's and 80's funk band for six years, she performed with several local bands in the twin cities, R Factor(formerly Ruperts Orchestra) , Jam Factory, Love Train, Dan Kusz jazz band, International Reggae Allstars, Les Exodus, Westside, George Scott Trio, Ray Covington.... she's also performed for the Vic Volare variety tonight show, Juneteenth, Rondo days, and many corporate events! She's been requested many times to sing the National Anthem for the Pro Boxing Matches held at the Target Center.She's opened up for several National acts, Cameo, Rose Royce, and the Dazz Band! Kendra's vocal style is often compared to that of none other than the Queen of Soul herself Ms Aretha Franklin!
