Born in Concourse Village in the Bronx & raised in Spring Valley, NY, Louie-p began listening to rap music when he was 7 years old an immediately took a liking to it. He began rapping at the age of 14, while attending Pomona middle school. He was influenced by artists such as 50 cent, Papoose, Styles p, Fabolous, & Cassidy, and names the late Tupac Shakur as his biggest influence of all.
While attending Ramapo High School, Louie-p recorded 3 low quality mix-tapes in his basement & passed them around creating a local buzz for himself. After getting tons of positive feedback from a variety of different people Louie-p began to take rap more seriously hoping to make a future of it. He then linked up with local rappers Greg Packs, Nate-Twizzy, OE, & J-black, forming his own group named “Hemp-City Coalition†(H.C.C.), A.K.A “The Coalitionâ€. He then released 2 mix-tapes with his group gaining an even bigger buzz for both him, and his squad.
He began writing harder, stepped up his lyrical game & his grind big time. In 2007, he hooked up with Joe Ham, founder & C.E.O of “Hamit-up
Productionsâ€. Mr Ham has worked with a variety of artists such as Teddy Pendergrass, & Mary J Blidge. Louie-p then released 2 high quality mix-tapes under Hamit-up Productions. With the release of his 7th unofficial mix-tape titled “Gods Gift†under S&S pro he gained a lot of recognition. His songs “Put ya hands up†& “Conspiracy†really gained him a lot of supporters.
In 2009 Louie-p broke off with “HCC†and started a new group named “Bout Dat Paper†(BDP) with J-black and Greg Packs. He was also recognized by Embassy Productions & DeMosthene Inc "DINC" who he is currently working with recording tracks and looking for a major label to sign with and take the hip hop industry by storm.
