TOne of the most progressive Prague guitar bands, which doesn’t even reach twenty with their age average . They act on the Czech music scene for just over two years - already crashing through the Prague clubs with their surprising energy and are attacking surrounding cities with overwhelming success. Fake Tapes stand out with their charismatic vocals, great arrangements and fresh energy transformed in to a multi-genre music performance.
2008 - performances at the major Czech festivals (Rock for People, Mighty Sounds, Planet festival and etc.). Also performances in other surrounding countries.
2008 - summer – the single Just Like Superheroes reaches number 1 in the „Velka sedma Radia 1“ hitparade.
2008 - summer – represented by the D_Smack_U Promotion agency
2008 - autumn – the Just Like Superheroes CD released with the Soundsquare music label. The release party in the almost-sold-out Rock Café.
2008 - winter – nominated for the best newcomer of 2008 in the Filter magazine; single Bubble was part of a compilation Filter magazine - Best of 2008, the Just Like Superheroes single included twice in Filter's the 20 most important song of the month. 2008 -
