Somewhere between Elliott Smith and Dashboard Confessional lies the emotional pop music of 580 West. Fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Daniel Berkman, the band has yet to settle on a final lineup. With influences like the Spill Canvas and Something Corporate, 580 west brings together acoustic guitars and strong rhythm arrangements. A lyrically driven band, Berkman touches on everything it is to be a teenager.
