Amber Bri Oliver, was born in Montgomery, Alabama. Singing has always been like an extension of talking for Amber, as she has been singing since as long as she could speak. She would walk around the house singing when her Grandmother Ann noticed that she was singing Mariah Carey songs and hitting those very difficult high notes. Although naturally gifted with the ability to sing, it wasn’t until Middle School that Amber became emotionally connected to music. After experiencing some tumultuous family issues, Amber started to realize that music, hearing the reassuring and uplifting words of Lorri Perri’s “Up Against the Windâ€, was her saving grace and sustenance. Amber’s music teachers began to persuade her to enter talent shows at an early age. She was performing and winning at talent shows at the age of 11. She began writing songs at the tender age of 14, and it was around this time that she knew for sure she wanted to pursue a career in the music industry.
