About Me

Here's a little bit about me. First, I have two jobs. I'm a Student Ministries Director in Renton, Washington at First EPC. I'm also the West Football Recruiting Analyst for Scout.com, covering California and Nevada. I get to watch and scout the best high school football players in the region (which is also probably the best region of football in the nation). Both jobs are fun and pay the bills, while allowing me a lot of time with my family. I was born and raised in Ventura, California, a SoCal native to the core. But I'm now in the Seattle area.
I've been married to my wife Amanda for 7 years and we have a 3-year old daughter, Alexandra (or Alex as we call her) and a 1-year old son, Cade (or Cadey like his sister calls him), who was born in February of 2006. The best and cutest kids. Absolutely love them. I'm the luckiest dad and husband in the world. .
I love UCLA Football and Basketball. I'm a proud Bruin alum and Cougar alum. My favorite team in all of professional sports is the Los Angeles Angels. And the 2002 World Series is the only thing that can rival anything UCLA has done. I also am a Los Angeles Lakers and Seattle Seahawks fan.
I have a lot of things I like: food (Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Thai, Greek, Sushi, BBQ), sports of all kinds, my BlackBerry and iPod, buying personal electronics, sleeping, reading, you name it. I even like driving. My absolute favorite thing to do, though, is play with my kids.
I love to listen and play music including listening to the greatest musician ever, Frank Sinatra. XM Radio and Sirius Radio are the greatest. Also love Switchfoot, Snow Patrol, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, U2, Norah Jones and many others who dot my iPod's playlist. But no one does music like Frankie. I also play the guitar, but wish I could play the piano or the bass.
That's all there is about me.

My Interests

Sports of all kinds (mainly college football, baseball, college hoops, the NFL, and the NBA). Working with students. Working on my laptop, drinking coffee or hanging out at Starbucks, people watching, going to the Beaches in SoCal, playing with my BlackBerry (the greatest invention ever, besides Tivo, the Internet and the Microwave), playing with my daughter and son, going out to dinner with my wife, traveling the world, reading my Bible, listening to my iPod, playing NCAA Football, MVP Baseball or MLB The Show, Tiger Woods and FIFA Soccer on my ps2 or my PSP, personal electronics, listening to satellite radio in my car (both XM and Sirius, my F-150 is hooked up) and tinkering with my BlackBerry (once you go Blackberry, you can never go back...to a PDA)
