About Me

Rusty LuQuire received his first drum kit at age four, and his world has been music non-stop ever since.
LuQuire has been in bands like Western Decadence, Wendy Gunn, and Storm Orphans, the band that provided his biggest hits—appearances on compilations, including Marijuana’s Greatest Hits and No Idols Allowed, and releases like “Promise No Parade” (recorded at Musicle Shoals Sound Studios) and “Sin Souls in Hell From Sex” (produced by Ed Roland of Collective Soul).
Like most artists, LuQuire finds inspiration in frustration and anger, as well as everyday life. Newer works like “The Blues Won’t Win Tonight” (recorded at Dreamcatcher Studio) and “So Glad I Got to Know You” are written on the streets of Birmingham, Alabama.
